    Keyboard help.. Again

Well I never got an official answer from my last thread and I really need one. Well when i restart my computer and press F8 to boot In safe mode it'll go to the selection but when It gets to that screen my keyboard just fails. Stops working all together. I just tried updating my driver and that didn't do anything. Err the port is rectangular that connects to of course a rectangular port >.> I'm really in need of help. Would like to scan computer In safe mode.

    Thank youuu :)

    Keyboard help.. Again

Is it a PS/2 connector or a USB connector?

Try a different USB port, one that is on the motherboard itself (preferably) not one that's part of an extension chip or hub.

If that fails try another keyboard to see if its the usb port or the keyboard. You can also try reinstalling/repairing your motherboards usb drivers/chipset drivers which sometimes does the trick.

Run into the bios with a different or PS/2 keyboard and enable USB on startup.
