    I think I'm seeing things...

Every night before I go to bed, I look in the mirror and sometimes I see something. It frightens me horribly and I get the chills. When I sleep, I'm afraid to look at doors or windows. Can someone explain what's going on?

What kind of thing do you see? I think it is because you are tired, and therefore feel slightly vulnerable (subconsciously). I get this sometimes too, but I will wake up after having a frightening dream (If I see something that isn't right in the dream, or I think I see something or whatever) and I can't look away from my pillow. Like I said, I think it is just a feeling of vulnerability you automatically get when you experience something that you do not understand, or feel that you are unprepared for.

Describe what you see. Are you afraid of what you see? If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine.
Are you on any drugs? Sometimes, drugs can cause hallucinations, especially those hallucinogenous drugs.

Lol, turn off Nightmare on Elm Street and you should be fine.

If you actually watch a lot of those movies, your brain will trigger its memory and play tricks on you.

I'm not even kidding but this used to happen to me sometimes usually when i was really tired. The way i got rid of it was i stopped watching horror movies and started watching comedies and reading before bed. The whole things is in your head just don't make a big deal about it and that might make it go away too. Hope I helped

Sounds to me like paranoia. Since your username is, well you know, does that mean you watch a lot of those movies? I agree I have seen almost every "scary movie," but maybe your mind does not fully accept that those things are acted out.

I am the type of person who faces things head on, so try after watching a movie like that, running outside when it is pitch black and just standing there. That could help you, or it could scar you for life (mentally).

I really can't explain what I see..it's very vague, I usually don't feel very tired because I sleep for adequate hours. And for the horror movies, I don't watch them any more because I have been scarred for life by the last one I saw 1 year ago. No I am not on any drugs either...

    lol.

It's most likely your imagination. It helps if you watch tv or a movie before you sleep, to keep your mind off of it.

Unless you've done acid/mush before, it's probably just being tired. I've tried mushrooms twice, but only low doses and when i'm in dark spaces, I seem to hallucinate too, and i'm 90% sure it's not fron trying mush twice. (btw I did 2 grams, then another time 1 gram 2 grams of weed and some other shit, but I really did hallucinate (good mush)

This might sound crazy, but do you think your Sythe account has anything to do with it? Freddy Krueger isn't exactly a loving character.

It's a proven fact if you are subconsciously afraid and or nervous of "ghosts" or anything else paranormal, your mind will create visual images, or other things that will most likely scare you. For example, you are walking home feeling paranoid someone is following you, you mind will pick up on trees rustling or braches snapping convincing you someone is following you.

    Tl;Dr - It's a trick of the mind.

Do you see stuff other than before going to bed? those might be signs of schizophrenia, hopefully not though, but I wouldn't worry, it's just probably because you are tired, go outside breathe fresh air for at least 1 hour a day and exercise and eat healthy, not to mention, go to sleep earlier too.
