you do realize that half the things you mentioned are already almost guaranteed to not be in the game anyways because this game takes place during a different time period?

That's a not a good idea, if a game isn't good people should complain so it can be better.

 

I'd like them to make the maps more intriguing and actually take advantage of the software they have.

For example a map that's island based. Two islands possibly with bridges going from one another and high water that can actually play a key role in stealth and approaching your enemies without being noticed. Maps that have a nighttime setting, to allow a different perspective of gameplay.

Things like that, I don't really care for much of an update of the guns, perks, and equipment. I would however like to see some more interesting kill streaks.

 

You know the Barrett .50 cal is semiautomatic(machine sniper).
So if no more of those how do you want the barrett to be 1 shot kill with a silencer if there will be no more barrett?

 

I can see why this is a wish list. I feel that taking the Call of Duty series from Infinity Ward was a horrible move by Activision. Call of Duty ran the series quite well excluding the horrible server connection status. I feel that with the movement of the game to Treyarch, Activision has pissed away the Call of Duty series.

(Seen at 0:15)- Here we see a machine gun not currently use in MW2. I would assume as the gun appears to have evolved, we will not be in the Vietnam era, contrary to popular belief.
(Seen throughout)- The second part of this video that shows me the time frame of the game is the fact that all assault rifles being used are AR-15's. The AR-15 is a newer aged weapon, thus making it take place shortly before or after MW2.
(Seen at 0:30)- It appears as if Treyarch is giving a more Battlefield appearance to the series. Here we see a user piloting a Comanche helicopter, which could be used by players during the campaign. This is just a theory, but as this shot has never been taken in COD's history, it seems like a smart move.
(Seen at 1:04)- Treyarch has given us crossbows that shoot semtex, need I say more?
(Seen at 1:10)- The woman wearing the bandanna seems to be a clear indicator that this game will be moving into a South American country or Vietnam just like MW2.
(Seen at 1:22)- This seems to be the largest indicator of piloted vehicles in the entire clip. The Comanche is responding with human like controls. This seems to be a clear message given to us by Treyarch.

yea i definitly agree with the thing about akimbo shotguns... pleaseeee no highpower shotguns/sniper like the 87s!

He's talking about single digit years as in 3-5 for "shortly before". You're using it as 50 years.

 

Go on youtube and listen to the interview with the creators. They were researching ideas and found out about 'Black Ops', or secret undercover missions, going on during the Cold War. That is what this game is going to be based on.

 

I agree for the most part. However as Black ops is going to take place in the cold war and will possibly contain Viet Nam I'd love to see the thompson in it with slightly more modern sights as it didn't stop fluctuating through our military until mid coldwar.

 

Looks a good game. Hope it will have less glithces and bugs.
It seems it will also be like MW2, MP is lame, but SP awesome.

Look pretty epic, hoping its a bit different the MW2 atleast, probably will be getting it for ps3, but apparently they are gonna charge monthly for that uhh >.>.

As for vehicles and largers maps, i don't really think that would be a good idea. The maps are big enough as it is, if you want bigger maps and vehicles go plays bad company 2.

 

Just to let you know, it's set in Vietnam, they didn't have all the high-tech stuff in that time, not sure how WaW got a ray gun.

 

I might just stay with modern warfare 2....
