Has something similar happened to you?

I was at Barrows last night on my last kill in the maze and I was halfway through killing him when I checked MSN and said to my friend "If my brother turns my internet off I'm going to punch his fucking head in" and as soon as I click back into RS I notice I've got no casts left and Verac is on 75% life and I see at the corner of my screen "Disconnected from netgear", my fucking internet had been turned off.

My bank was 20mil last night now it's turned to shit. Least I kept firecape.

Yes, that did happen to me. I had my laptop with me and I was watching TV at the same time. Next thing I noticed I'm in Falador with 3 items, But if you go on a popular world, most people will bless your grave, so you can get back. Also if you have fairy rings, you can get to barrows faster and get your items back. I hope this has helped you.

 

My internet was turned off completely, even if I tried to go back it takes at least 5-6 minutes to fully connect to my network..

 

I've lost a few hundred thousand GP with faulty internet but nothing of your magnitude.

 

I guess I'm lucky that I don't do combat often.

My dad/relatives tinker with the router every now and then and, of course, my Rs playing session is abruptly ended.

wow that blows.. I've had my mom step on the Ethernet cable disconnecting it while I was fighting Jad before.. That was balls XD but I didn't really lose anything.

Never had my brother turn off the internet. My internet has just gone out before and I've lost cash. Never got irritated enough to make a thread about it though.

My brother isn't too much of a moron (besides the fact that he did get me demoted..), but he wouldn't go and turn off the Internet..

Anyways, sorry for your loss. At least you kept the best non-tradeable item in the game. Good luck trying to regain all your wealth back.

 

Happens to me quite a bit I live at the far edge of my isp's service area and I get dc'd all the dam time.A ring of life can be amazing for bad connections and stupid asshole brothers
