People gaining 200 posts in 1 day just to scam people?

I persanally Dont have many vouches ect But im definately Not here to scam I like just browseing the forums ect which is a good laugh but I never trust on post count or very rarely Unless there a moderator or such.

 

There are different types of people.

Some just post when they're trading.

Some like to post and browse the forums alot etc.

Just one rule: Never look at the postcount, look at their vouches, and if you're suspicious, use a middleman.

 

Say's the person who makes over 100 posts in a day...

I started this account in February and lurked the forums for the right trades before I even tried to start them. From my brief stay here, I've realized that the people who scam are idiots who get their post count up just to seem "legit" and get a bunch of petty vouches from shit like 1 pin trade.

 

I started this acc in April 2009 and only have 100 something posts. xD
I think people who joined early like June should get a little title next to their name saying "Newcomer"

 

On topic; YES, people gain 200post count just to scam 5-10$.

 

One that get's scammed time after time doesn't leave sythe. Usually the people who are scammed a lot end up becoming scammers themselves.

I know I am only a leecher, But I have seen many of these in other forum sites that have gained multiple accounts, I find It sad.

If someone intended to scam, they would scam right away not wait 4 years.

Steps I recommend to stopping these people:
#1. View there profile. See if they spam alot!
#2. Google their MSN, find out if they have been banned/accused on other websites.
#3. Look at there vouches/Post count. I hate to drag a non-banned member into this but I just realized this... Kingpin (A pin seller) has over 938 posts and 14 vouches. Thats 1 Vouch/ 67 Posts. I have 387 Posts with 15 vouches. That is 1 vouch/25 posts. It is slightly better (i am not saying that is the best).
#4. Look at the value of the trades. Is it a pin? or a phat trade? Is it a 2.50$ guide? or it is a 100m account.
#5. Take all the time you need to ask questions and get answers. If they are trying to rush you say im sorry i'm not comfortable with this.


If all users did this, the scam rate would go way down!

You are a perfect example of why we should have a post count limit. You had 100 post per day, a couples days later you come and scam 75cents. Like why bother wasting your time to get 75cents.
