Do You Use an Automatic or Manual Toothbrush? v2

It's been a while since I've asked this but I am curious as to whether or not people here use automatic or manual toothbrushes. I have a mild curiosity in this matter. People always change and learn to use what they thought they'd never use with time. Slide a quick vote in if you see this, thanks!

People's complaints against automatic were:
Lack of control (automatic toothbrushes have always had different intensities although usually at a premium)
Does not clean effectively / is weak
Tickles
Corporate America

People's praise towards automatic were:
Cleans effectively
Times your brushing so you know when it has been 2 minutes
Useful for braces

 

I use automatic although the head of the brush stops spinning after a while if brushing too hard which sucks.

 

Damn bro how long do you brush for?

 

You won't get an efficient brush session in with an automatic toothbrush. I don't even think dentists recommend those. That sorta stuff is only appealing for young kids and the elderly.

definitely manual, i'm too forgetful to go automatic. i'll probably forget to charge it when its dead.

 

Manual. Don't really see the point in using automatic since with automatic you still have to move the brush around.

I've always used a manual toothbrush but I just switched to an automatic for the first time about a month ago and I wish I had made the switch earlier!

 

I use a Quip. Pretty great. Buzzes every 30 seconds to let you know to switch sides, so you get a full 2 minutes of brushing.

 

Automatic toothbrushes are damn near life-changing. Thought the same thing when I switched over. Gives you a much thorough clean and does all the work for you.

 

Manual all day. a robot cant brush my teeth better than me...

 

I used both before but in the end prefer Manual toothbrush. It's cheaper

 

I have really only used manual. Teeth are good. Some people say the fancy ones are better. Mine are $4. Theirs are $200.
