Can Iphones Be Unblocked???

hi everyone, my dad bought an iphone off ebay about 2 months ago, everything was fine with it but the other day it stopping recieving any signal and can no longer make any outgoing calls and just displays a no "no service" signal. im currently just using it as an ipod as we have been told that it has been blocked and is therefor useless.

i sure there must be a way to get the phone working again and was just wondering if anyone knew of anything we could try to fix this.

Is the iPhone unlocked? Also, the IMEI number might have been reported stolen or lost, so then they block it, and then you can't use the service anymore, I'm not 100% sure if that's true, but I heard my friend tell me that.

Getting it off ebay can be sketchy. I'd notify the person you purchased it from and be like yo this iphone worked for a while now it's locked.

 

yeah we currently have a dispute going on with paypal but have to wait 7 days till they do something. mailed seller like 5 times with no reply which pretty much says it all!

 

Have you tried to call Apple..? It sounds like it's been locked from a stolen/lost dispute. I'm sure if you called Apple and sorted it out with them, they'll help you fix it up.
