There are Portal 1 & Portal 2.

Going through Portal 1 will get you to where Portal 2 is, and the opposite.
What would happen, if you swallow Portal 2, and go through Portal 1?

In my opinion, In the second you go through Portal 1, your body would rip over, as if something your size would suddenly come inside you.

Tell me what you think.

EDIT: Don't care about the fact that the portal is too big for you to swallow, just answer the question.

It's impossible to actually answer it, as it's impossible to actually think of it because it's physically impossible, for our knowledge. My opinion would be that you would implode, but gradually.

 

My mind is blown. I've given this scenario much thought and have come to a virtually incomprehensible conclusion. After swallowing the second portal and stepping into the first, you would be sent out of the very portal you just swallowed. You would think that "you," another figure with the exact same dimensions would immediately appear inside your own body. But it makes me think. You couldn't appear inside your own body, as that would make two of you. By stepping into the first portal, you would not be creating a whole different universe or anything, so there would still only have to be one of you. This is a complex scenario that the human mind cannot comprehend. Thus being said, Panzy Wanzy is correct. To us humans, it is physically impossible. It is a thought that cannot be theorized, as it would lead to a chain reaction of events. As we step into one portal, we are automatically sent into the next. As this happens, we are still inside the first. This would repeat indefinitely. That is the answer.

 

I would say life is too short for this kind of thing ....

Well, you said you would come out of Portal 2, by going through Portal 1. But the opposite. If you swallowed Portal 2 you would come out of it and it would be in your stomach. But you said opposite, so that means the portal would reverse and send you out of your own body.

This is not possible, because to reach portal 2 you have to enter portal 1...
So there is no way to swallow it in the first place? (Unless portal 1 and 2 are at the same spot.)

If you are standing at portal 1...you can't swallow portal 2.
If you stand at portal 2 and swallow it you can't reach portal 1 since you swallowed portal 2 and can't enter it to reach portal 1......


But lets say both portals are in the same place then both you and the portal 2 would disappear in nothingness.

 

well i think you would just teleport a little bit to the side of where you are
as you said that you go to where it is, you dont go 'inside' the other portal, or else once you went into one portal. you would be stuck forever

Well, in the tree question it makes sound but nobody is around to hear it, or precisely sound waves.

 

It's like, what if you throw portal 2 through portal 1?

Does it make a copy of it or get stuck in some parallel world?

As part of your body went through portal one, that same volume and mass would be placed inside of your body through portal 2. So wouldn't you just eventually replace all of the mass that your body had before going through portal 1 with the mass that is coming out of portal 2? This is only assuming that the portal that you swallowed never goes through portal 1. If that happened, you would in theory just go back through portal 1 with an identical mass. You would never "explode" because the mass, volume, etc.. is all congruent. So in a sense you'd just be a twisted piece of shit being pulled through different portals at one time.

 

i think what would be a better question is what would happen if you threw portal 1 into portal 2

 

Assuming if you make contact with the portal you would enter it. You couldn't swallow the portal without going through it

 

If you swallowed it, you wouldnt go through the portal, the portal would go inside you. Think before you post.
