    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    Well, just wondering how you could tell if a victim has ADHD or not. I think I have it and if I do, do I talk to a regular doctor or something? My friends tell me I have it after I known em for 3 years

    Well, I would say that having difficulty keeping your attention on something would hint at it, but don't try and diagnose yourself. Talk to your Doctor or GP.

    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    * Be easily distracted, miss details, forget things, and frequently switch from one activity to another
    * Have difficulty focusing on one thing
    * Become bored with a task after only a few minutes, unless doing something enjoyable
    * Have difficulty focusing attention on organizing and completing a task or learning something new
    * Have trouble completing or turning in homework assignments, often losing things (e.g., pencils, toys, assignments) needed to complete tasks or activities
    * Not seem to listen when spoken to
    * Daydream, become easily confused, and move slowly
    * Have difficulty processing information as quickly and accurately as others
    * Struggle to follow instructions.

    Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type symptoms may include:[33]

    * Fidget and squirm in their seats
    * Talk nonstop
    * Dash around, touching or playing with anything and everything in sight
    * Have trouble sitting still during dinner, school, and story time
    * Be constantly in motion
    * Have difficulty doing quiet tasks or activities.

    and also these manifestations primarily of impulsivity:[33]

    * Be very impatient
    * Blurt out inappropriate comments, show their emotions without restraint, and act without regard for consequences
    * Have difficulty waiting for things they want or waiting their turns in games

    Hope I helped :)

    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    Yup, I have ADHD, and I might be getting adderall soon, and you're right. I have pretty much all of those symptoms. I also have ADD, ODD, and Anxiety. And thyroid problems, and migranes. I'm fucked up, lol. But weed helps most of those. Besides my thyroid, but whatever. I'm not on ANY medication either.

    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    I know some people are gonna flame me for this, but here goes.

    I don't think ADHD is a real disorder. I think it's just a gateway for kids who have no control over themselves or kids that are looking for attention. The symptoms MiM3 listed can happen to anyone. Symptoms such as 'being easily distracted' shows that you have a low attention span, not ADHD. Daydreaming? Do you think that if someone daydreams they have a disorder? Being bored unless a task is enjoyable explains itself. If it's not enjoyable, how are you not supposed to be bored?

    This is probably more of a rant than anything, but with bogus symptoms like that it seems like kids that are diagnosed with ADHD are just kids that have a lack of self control.

    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    Adderall can fuck you up. Its based off of amphetamine, and one of the side affects is suicidal tendencies. I'd suggest you try to get on Concerta, which is a controlled-release form of Ritalin. It's alot less habit forming, harmful, and the emotional effects are much less severe.

    There is a low attention span, and then there is being distracted during sex. I think that ADHD is a bit different from a low attention span.

    ADHD is definitely a real disorder, but I have no doubt that it has been way over-diagnosed in the US. As well, tons of kids end up getting put on drugs that can end up making them totally different people than who they were before, which is even worse.

    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    Whilst I agree with portions of this post, and these ARE symptoms EVERYONE has, it's not true that ADHD isn't a disorder.

    There are people out there truly suffering from this that could benefit from the medication.

    I think a lot of it is a ploy to allow themselves to act "crazy", especially in school.

    What are the symptoms of ADHD

    I should correct myself. ADHD is a real disorder, but as RecoveryKing stated the symptoms listed can be taken to the extreme. If you are sometimes bored or sometimes fidget, it's not ADHD.

    You should definitely go to the doctor if you believe you have ADHD -

    (Btw I know little about medical diagnostics ) But I know that ADHD is often over diagnosed in the US..most people who "have it" just need more attention from people around them.
