    150grand a year? wow. I make right at 101grand a year and I co-own a welding company.

I would go with the job. If your mom does not want to get treatment, then let her go the way she pleases. I am sorry to be so mean about it, but it's life.

Try and convince her to have the treatment. I've seen enough people in my own family die in pain because they denied treatment or chose quackery. Very few people die peacefully from advanced cancer.

I'm not sure how it works in Queensland, but she may not be admitted to palliative care in a public hospital if she has denied treatment, meaning that she wouldn't be able to take any pain controlling medicine when she is dying.

She's already had Chemo, and it really knocked her around. More then what she was like before it. She made the decision before she even knew she had it, that she wouldn't go through the process again; as good as it may be, it really screws with your body.

The real questions that need to be asked should be by yourself; to yourself. The smart thing to do is to keep the job and visit your mom as much as possible without the threat of losing the job. Your mother has made her choice, and now it's time that you've made yours.

Would it be possible to rent an apartment or house for her near your home so you could spend time with her and keep your job?

Yeah this sounds like your best option. Unless you brother lives with her. That would complicate things a little. If your making 150k a year, you have alot of options, how far does she live from you at the moment?
