How Many Bots with 6 GB RAM

christ GHZ doesnt mean anything. I mean i have an old P4 here which is 3.0 ghz and it cant be compared to my Q6600 @ 2.4 ghz. Really though its about the type of processor not the GHZ, as that is not the only way to know how fast a processor is.

 

Are you taking in consideration the processor's cache?

And GHz does still matter for processors.

 

Ive got 3gb and running 4, no lag =/. ( youtube isn't loading, but i don't think its a big problam )

 

Random Attribute Memory isn't the only thing that determines the amount of bots you will be able to run w/o lag. But my guess with a Quad i7 perhaps 8 or so.

 

Since you have 6 GB's of ram, I would guess that you're running a 2.6ghz i7 920, and have hyperthreading on by default(so it shows up in Windows as having 8 cores). You should have no problem running 7 bot clients(leaving 1 core for Windows processes). Just set each client to be used by a different core.

Lol at people thinking they know about computers xD. You can easily get at least 6 without a problem. But it does depend a heck of a lot on the other hardware.

 

I've hat bad experience with servers...

I bought a 1GB VPS from burst.net and it LAGGED terribly running the auto-fighter bot, I gained 3k exp/hour, when in my computer I get at least 60k/hour.

I guess it depends on the quality, and all the stuff in it, not just the ram.

I run soulwars 24/7 and i get the same zeals as i do on my normal computer, and it's not really laggy. You should contact burst.net

its not all jsut ram u know.. i have a 2,000 custom built comp and im getting 8 bots but my cpz is pro

 

Does anyone if its bad if your comp is always botting 24/7 and never gets rest? can it hurt the computer or not? i have 6G of ram but i have litterally botted for a month 24/7.. can this be damaging to the computer or not? thanks.. pm me if u can
