Moderators.

Hey, what happened to SFA Moderators, WoW Moderators, Community Moderators and such?

I remember we used to have a few.

How come we don't have any anymore?

 

They don't need mods at the moment or they're looking for someone. Be patient.

 

Globals can easily handle those sections, and there's a lot of globals right now.

 

I saw a post somewhere (I believe from Finn) saying they wanted a new SFA Moderator to replace Dropkick Murphys, however there wasn't anyone up to the job.

 

SFA = Off Topic Mod
WoW = Not necessary because we have many globals that play WoW
Community Mods = Never was necessary

 

There could be a SFA mod since none of the off-topics post there, but it doesn't really matter.

 

SFA mods aren't needed. That section is Sythe's baby. He takes care of it and he moderates it.
Plus, the staff currently has a lot of members and they're not looking for any more.

WoW isn't a active section like RS. It doesn't need a mod. If you see any posts in there breaking rules, report it and the user shall be dealt with by a staff member.

 

While the mods don't have to post there, surely it's desirable. For example, runescape mods can't really moderate there if they don't play, graphics mods can't if they don't do some graphics and so on.

 

Not necessarily.

Take Runescape mods, for example. I don't need to play Runescape to moderate the section. I can just delete/infract/temp ban people/posts that are clearly against the rules. It isn't rocket science

 

I post there pretty frequently, and quite a lot of spam is sneaking through the cracks. It doesn't really matter, but it would be better if there was someone there to deal with it quickly.

 

Just report the post or PM an off-topic mod/global who is on at the time. It should be dealt with
