Alright everyone. So Im going to give the next hour or so to debate on whether I am going to get 43 prayer on my 1 Def Pure.

71 att.
94 str
1 def
16 prayer
78 mage
70 range

Would it ruin my Pking career? I am a pretty good Pker, Made like 5m profit yesterday. I enjoy Pking alot. I would like to start Aviancies soon. Theres a bunch of reasons why i like having protect spells etc.

Discuss the ups and downs of going from 75-78 ish combat?

And adding in - My pure is my main basically.

 

Get range up for avancies, shouldn't be hard to like 75, and get mage up to 82 maybe for more versatility. Your strength is nice, so you could get prayer, but you might also want to get range up, again, more styles of attack and versatility. Prayer shouldn't be a problem with your strength.

I would suggest getting to 99 summoning just for the hell of it.
In all seriousness, I wouldn't get the prayer. Getting to 99 str will be much more worth it then getting 43 prayer.

Stay 16 prayer. The extra cb levels kill you.

Definitely get the prayer. It's useful for PvP and PvM. I'd suggest 44 prayer instead of 43 though, as you'll probably want to pump your range up sometime for hybriding.

 

If your f2p pking don't,it's useless.If u p2p pk then yes,tho i suggest you to get 99 str first.

I did get 44 prayer on my pure, and it helped alot both in pking and questing. So I prefer 44 prayer.

 

I'll remind you have 1 def, getting 43 prayer will boost your cb for sure. Then higher levels can now attack you, and who knows you might die. I would not for a pure in my opinion.

Only time I die in wildy is rushers. Im a clawer myself. So yeah. Thanks all who responded. I willl be getting the prayer once i map out which quests i need to do with prayer rewards.

okay so wot about if u stay 1 pray these will be the stats if u remain 1 pray

75 att , 99 str 90 hits ( btw id suggest getting 99 range + 94+ magic) kk so your max hit without prayer ( the same level if you was to have prayer) lets say whip max hit for them stats is 294.. at combat level 79 with them stats ( super set)

okay for the max hit with 44 prayer with stats u allready have would be 319...

so i hope i have gave u your answer yes pryer makes ur cb higher but lol u will be able to hit harder.. also have 15% att 15% str ..and have the chance to do alot more quests ( easier)

btw if u was getting pray
id get 75 att aswell for gs only a extra cb lvl.. and get your range and mage higher.

Okay, I can hardly read what you said but I think I get it, and you're wrong.

Those 5 combat levels are equal to about 12+ Strength levels. Those 12+ strength levels give you a higher hit than if you wasted those 5 combat levels on prayer.

 

If you solo edge pk and either aren't afraid of being rushed or you welfare pk in a +1 world then keep 16 pray.

 

Raise prayer to 43, or even 44 if you plan to hybrid later.
