    Ever hear about Ubuntu?

Ever hear about Ubuntu? Well, ever wanted to try it?

Before you do, you may need to know a few things!

If so, I am YOUR MAN! - I have had Ubuntu for the past 3 years, love it. So many great features!

If you want a demo of what it's like, contact me and I can show you through TeamViewer. Then, if you want, I can help with install or dual-booting.

(This is a GD, and off-topic)

It's fine, but I find it so unnecessary.

Why bother using something other than the most widely supported system, all my experiences with linux have resulted in wasted time trying to make things work.

It's great if you need something free though.

Ubuntu is one of the best choices for a linux OS. If you are a fan of gaming and linux, go for Ubuntu.

Maybe for you, might I add, others are "natural" at getting them to work.

I have had many issues, but always end up working.

I think the downfall is that there IS issues.

I like fixing computers though, and it's free.

I'd rather use windows 7 because making it work and finding programs that are compatible with ubuntu is very hard to do. I'm sure many would agree with me on that :p

But Linux based operating systems are open sourced so if you can use your computer for more than playing solitaire then I would say use ubuntu

Ugh. I'm not saying I can't, I'm saying it's an annoying waste of time to make things work when I could just use windows and get the same end result.

I think that Linux is great, and everyone should at least give it a try, if they can't get anything to work, then they should at least try a few more times, then give up. I used to use Ubuntu, until I started gaming, and Intel doesn't have graphics drivers for their integrated video cards for Ubuntu, which my laptop has an integrated video card. But anyways, it's a great operating system if you don't play video games or anything like that.

Because I like Ubuntu and am a CPU Programmer, and Ubuntu makes it a lot easier, being Open Sourced.

Plus, I don't like Windows. I have nothing against it, but just don't like it.
