Seriously though look at the risks involved with tanning. It's not worth it for a little bit darker skin man. Especially not at your age.

That's incorrect and just a pure display of hearsay and ignorance. Research in the area is bound to change as more observations are made and studies conducted, but as of now I suggest you do some research and you will find that currently there are more known risks involved with tanning beds, not to say there are none for regular sun bathing.

In all honest reality its your opinion that matters and if you think geting a tan will help your chance with women then by all means go tan.

Obviously, the whole "it's gay when" is kind of absurd to begin with (unless the end of the sentence is "two [or more] guys hookup"). However, if you really care that much what people think, then yeah, it does show a consciousness of appearance that guys aren't "supposed" to be aware of. At the same time, though, tans aren't a girly/feminine characteristic - in fact, they can be quite masculizing. So, the answer to your question is sort of, but not really. Either way, I'm sure plenty of guys have them.
