Give up in school?

Going to senior yr as a 2011 graduate, and currently going to be in english 1, and yet have not reached the requirement for college at
biology, intergrated science, geometry, all with D's and havn't took algerbra 2. Haven't read a book since 5th grade yet passed highschool exit exam.too late for summer school. do you think its too late to try in school now? i was thinking of military cos thats were mostly the FML ppl go

 

Quit Runescapa/any gaming sites and study. Not as easy as it sounds but combined with community college could scrap you a degree

 

Don't give up. Hit the books. You should pass high school at the very least, then move on to the military if that what you want to do.
My mother had to support her two siblings during high school so her grades were poor, but she worked hard and became a doctor.

No, don't just give up, how many weeks have you got left at school? If you really want to achieve shit don't sit at home worrying, attend classes and get those extra few hours in of study at home. I don't do anything in class, but with a week of tight revision, I always end up with at least a pass.

And the military isn't the place where the 'FML people' go, 'FML people' sit on street corners smoking crack and begging for money. I quite fancy a career in the military.

 

Why would you even consider giving up? There is still hope, keep on going. The Military is a good option for you, it seems, but that doesn't mean you should stop trying. You need to be smart to get many jobs in the Military.

Did ages ago. I quit but school is too difficult for me.

I know, I was thinking of studying up on ASVAB then retake my test. I failed or got a low score of 22.

Probably, I should start reading and wonder how that goes.

You could get a GED, but the military might be a good option since they could help with your education.

 

this is your best bet, or set goals for yourself
you get a certain mark you play a little bit of games etc etc

 

I don't need a GED because i'm gauranteed for life to graduate highschool. It's just that any classes with a D- is a passing and credit earning. I have nuff credits to graduate but the point is that the classes required for a university or state must have C- or higher. You could tell by my grammar and punctuation that I still write like a kid lol.

 

Don't give up, you should spend little to none time now having 'fun' and get down to the books. You have no time to waste, so start learning. I wish you all the best.

 

Haha, going through the same bullshit as you, but i passed most of my important classes at the minimum. Currently at summer school for my diploma. You're going to a community college. That's it, lol. No chances for F*ck ups like us. Motivate yourself, do what you have to do, and be better than the rest. Don't let your mess in highschool hold you back, still have a long road ahead to make yourself a success.

 

Military shouldn't be as bad as it sounds. You get many benefits and they usually fund tertiary study once you have completed service. Also you're doing your own nation a great benefit and your family a lot of pride.

 

I heard that once you join military, its a 2 yr. term but my other friends tell me that they can hold you in as long as they want ors omething?

Take night class's/Night school, study hard, you'll pass no problem.


Giving up is the worse thing you can do in this situation.
But school isn't for everyone, don't just join the military because you failed.. Make an effort in passing school, you won't regret it.

 

School really isn't that hard. Just do the home work and if you have a test or quiz just study ten minutes before it. I always cram in studying and always end up passing. And it's not that hard if you're taking low level classes so you should give it a try.

 

I will be completely honest with you, without a college degree your chances of success drop dramatically. If you ever intend on getting a high paying job you will need a college degree. School is your key. If you are incapable of learning/studying because you have a learning disorder or some other illness then you should consider something else, if you are failing out of shear laziness then you need quit the bullshit and pick up a book.

I just graduated from high school myself and if there is anything I have learned it is that you can't be lazy. I was incredibly lax in high school and now I am not achieving what I should be. I am still going to be attending college in the fall though. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can't give up, you can't be lazy. A good education and a solid degree behind you is without a doubt one of the most important things in your life.

 

I was given up on at school by my teachers but i came out with decent grades by working hard and doing it myself and im now at college so goodluck and dont give up .

 

Noo, Dont, Noo, Dont, If you give up you will have to do it again start of the year. And Keep going on your work.

 

Giving up never solved anything nor would it ever in any situation, especially for school. Even if you fall a year or two behind, it will benefit you alot more than going into military service and hating it for the rest of your life.
