MW2- Pussy hosts

Don't you hate when you have a shitbag host and everybody has 1 bar and he has 5? Then they get on the mike about how much everybody sucks when we are lagging and can't aim worth shit.

Also when the host is a fag and leaves because his team is losing, or even at the very end of the game he leaves when it's showing the game winning kill and it can't find another suitable host.

I just can't fucking stand people anymore.

 

Yeah I don't get why they make people with bad connections the host. Does it just randomly pick someone? Or does it look at how good their connection is and determine on that?

 

It checks how good their connection is at the time.

Major flaw in the game.

Its somthing that makes everyone else lag but you.

 

There Servers Determine this ^^

Being the host is not the only thing that affects the outcome of this its the servers being used, the better the server more chance a better host will be picked and there will be no problems. most aggravating thing is when someone just turns off there Xbox while playing and it boots everyone back to the lobby.

This is one of the reasons I don't like MW2.

 

Ps3/PC chooses best host. COST: FREE
Xbox360 has it's own servers. COST: 1YR-40$+
I have a PS3.

 

The Xbox Live host system is pretty damn bad, instead of choosing someone who has the best average connection speed/ping it seems to choose randomly.

 

I find that playing at my friends, who owns a PS3, I tend to get wayyyy worse hosts.

 

There are no dedi servers...

 

Both are peer-to-peer based therefore your logic does not stand.

Paying for XBL is well worth the cost.

 

This is why console games need to use dedicated servers.
