Best client for a novice programmer?

I want to make a bot that simulates a person using mousekeys to clean herbs.

I have experience with java and c++ but I have never written a bot before- which client should I use?

Ideally it would be one that has built-in support for randoms.

If you want to make a botclient, do it in java.
    Maybe look at rsbot?
    Its open source..

Java is definitly your best bet if your gonna make a client with multiple scripts, if you just wanna make a .exe that does it when its open or w/e just use C++ as it might be easier. (Idk i only know VB and HTML)

I'm not really looking to make multiple scripts at the moment- maybe I worded that wrong- all I want to do is make one script that will clean the herbs for me.

By far its Java for creating a client, other then that I would say c++ is your second option.
