    Need help with VB connect to MySQL
    Hello,

    I need some help on VB.

    I want my program to connect to a database and show the info from it.

    Any ideas?

    Are you sure you are going to do this in visual basic? Or are you getting mixed up with vb.net? Only asking because it would be a lot easier in vb.net :D

    Hmm, I am not aware of VB being able to connect to a MySQL database..
    You might have to do a combination of VB + PHP to obtain the outcome you want. VB would more then likely be using the inet controls, but otherwise have you tried googling around for this? Also what version of VB?

    This is exactly what I did until I discovered .NET. Then I just started to use python, and that made it tonnes easier :p.
