    Why do people insist on

Scamming? There are like 30 legit people on this whole entire site.

Like really? I'd feel like shit fi I scammed somebody out of their stuff, it's basically stealing. If there are this many people who do these kinds of things, our generation is fucked.

    /end rant.

Trust me, our generation isn't any different from others. People always reinvent themselves and find new ways to scam.

I can name over 30 people here that are legit, easily. Just use a trusted MM\OMM if you want to be secure.

    Why do people insist on

Just looking for a quick buck, I guess. Scamming is stupid. I've seen some people on other forums who have contributed so much and been on the community for so long, just to end up scamming. Greed gets the best of all of us. We must prevail!

    Why do people insist on

It's not "our generator", it's the internet. Shit happens because it's not face to face. Internet Crime Agencies don't do shit about it either, and you're always taking a risk when trading on this forum, because WoW/Runescape account selling or services are against the Runescape rules anyway.

But yeah, people only get scammed because they're too lenient and they don't take the safety precautions needed when trading with someone.

    Why do people insist on

Some people get a kick out of it, or need some money. I can safely say I won't scam anyone ever, It's not the type of person I am to be honest.

Yes, but most people come here FOR the black market :) It'd be kinda odd to join a blackmarket site if you don't use markets eh? I'm sure most of us joined for the market, then found the other sections were pretty kickass.

    Why do people insist on

Yes, but you can't expect people to be legitimate on a BLACK MARKET. It's whole design isn't even legitimate. Use methods to avoid being scammed and keep your wits about you and you'll be fine :)

    Why do people insist on

When trading, get their IP. If the scam you send them an email saying you will contact the authorities and state their IP. Usually they will get scared and refund you, especially scares the young scammers (12-13 yr olds pretending to be 16)

    Why do people insist on

It is very easy to hide behind a proxy/mask. I do it frequently and I once changed my I.P. (unintentionally) to appear as though I was in Korea.
So the whole I.P. stuff is rubbish if you're up against a scammer who knows this.

    Why do people insist on

Well to me, it's not about age, how ever younger kids mentalities are different then older, most younger people would get afraid/feel bad if they scammed an older person, if they scammed a younger person or someone their age they wouldn't feel anything.

    I'm 13 and i haven't scammed once on sythe.
Only time i scammed was in 06, said i was selling a rune scimitar, switched into a mithril one, made around 100k from it :p

    Why do people insist on

It is so much easier for many to facilitate an unethical- conscious decision when it takes place over the internet. When it comes down to actually stealing ones hard earned assets online, ignorance is bliss.

The comfort of being behind a monitor screen opens up other alleviating capabilities to online thievery such as creating an entity to comfort the criminal by thinking that as an individual they are not committing crime but rather their facade of deceit and moral reprehension played out by this entity that takes hold of them.
It is less of a burden to press a red button and execute someone on the other side of the world then it is to shoot someone point blank- and this is essentially the idea behind scamming.. its so easy to maintain a clear conscience.

You played RS when you were 9?..

Hey, man. If you are scared to get scammed, don't trade ffs.

    Legit sellers always:
    • Never refuse a OMM.
    • Provide you with account info, if they are the original owner.
    • Will let the MM test recover the account, to check the info, even though I think this is completely shit because of IP changes.
    • Don't sell accounts, for pennies.

    Why do people insist on

I fully agree. The funny part is most scammers on Sythe aren't 12 or 13, I've dealt with a scammer who was 23, He scammed $10, He was 23 years old, scamming $10, It is about time to get a job. I sell my accounts to get myself or someone a gift every so often, to have something I can enjoy, like buy a new Bass guitar. There will ALWAYS be scamming on Sythe or other black markets.
