Reduce time between reports

As there is really no-one bothering to take care of either the WoW market or the WoW section itself, I've taken it upon myself to go through the threads there and report all of the threads that are against the rules. However, there are a ton of threads such as that, and having to wait 5 minutes between each report makes it take an hour to report a single page of threads. Thus, I suggest that the time limit be lowered to 1-2 minutes, so that people reporting multiple threads or posts at a time don't have to spend an hour doing so.

 

PM me whatever threads need to be closed, moved, etc...

Reducing the time between reports will be more unnecessary strain on the server.

 

Well I had asked Spyike and he said no so I figured other mods wouldn't want to do it either.

 

Spyike doesn't have permissions in the World of Warcraft section. Only globals/admins have it unless a WoW moderator is added.

 

The main problem is the WoW Market, which Spyike DOES have permissions over. I'm not stupid.

 

I do find it rather annoying but theres not much we can do.

If a whole thread is abd just report the 1st post and leave a comment about the rest.

All those locked threads were reported by me, so you can see why it can be an issue ^_^

 

It'd be nice if the system went by what % of your reports were "right". The more right reports you do the less time between reports per individual user. With the lowest still being 45 secs or 1 minute.

 

I'd support reducing it to 120 seconds.

 

I "think" I said a little more than just "no". Your request was to send me PMs for the reports. I declined as I would rather follow the system in place and to insure that any actions I take have a history of reference for all moderators to see. Thought I explained that in the PM. Thanks

 

I made one of these threads myself, over a year ago. Never implemented. The staff thought it'd cause spamming the report a spammer section and they suggested I PM an online moderator to take care of them or put multiple threads in the reason for report so that many threads would be locked by 1 report.

Support as this is a brilliant idea and i got pissd each time i need to wait between reports

 

I'd like to have a reduced time between reports as well, however in doing so I believe it can slow down the servers, possibly crashing them.

Just do what I do if I have more then one post to report, put all the links into the one report.

 

I don't think increasing the time between reports to say 120 seconds would have much of an impact on lag. There are still going to be way more posts per minute than reports.
