    Sick and tired of life.

What gave you the idea I live in India? D: I live in Malaysia. It's a lot like India tbh. You can't date someone without talking to your parents and her parents first >_<

Thanks Sin. I'll think it over, but for the moment, I've no idea what I want to do. My brother is likely to support me, but my parents have told me, in no uncertain terms, that I must do either: accountancy, medicine or law. I like law best out of all three so I'll probably go and do that.

Oh and please stop with all the "stop your whining" bullshit. If I wanted to feel even worse about myself, I'd post this in the spam forum. My idiotic posts happened a long time ago and I really believe I've changed.

Thanks and feel free to post more advice.

    Sick and tired of life.

I know you think you life sucks and all, but think about the kids in africa, think how their daily routine goes on, it's horrible yet they still find ways to have fun. I know you may think your life sucks and all but your 15, when your 18 if you really want to do it, fuck your parents and live your own life, live it the way you want it to be and c'mon think about, atleast you have a family. One of my good friends, both of his parents died in a car crash. Boom his life changed drastically like that. I'm turning 15 as well and I just find it said that other people my age really don't enjoy life.

Weights are really hard to motivate yourself for at first (I have a small set sitting in the corner of my room, lol), and you really should see some kind of trainer before you start for the first time. It's not uncommon to serious long term or permanent damage from lifting too much the wrong way.

If I were you I'd start with running, swimming or cycling. These things are far better for general fitness and wellbeing than musclebuilding exercises, atleast that's what I found.

    Best of luck.

Around here, you don't get freedom at 18. You get it at 21. Also, I'd like to go to college. If I say "fuck my parents" and walk out the door, do you think I'd get there?

Shit happens. I grew up in a very, very poor family, didn't give a fuck, though. Did exciting things at school that substituted for the shitty poor life at home. Exciting to me, not exciting to the teachers, principals, and school board. You just have to rebel sometimes at your age, which is my point. Coming from Canada I don't understand your point of view, though. I mean, every single person in my high school smoked weed and other 'soft' drugs, add that on top of the fact most of us are laidback, TOO laidback. Anyway ... I'll stop rambling.

    Good luck with your decision.

This sounds like my life. The only difference is that I'm not sick of living. Just think, a couple more years and you're free. That's always what I think about.

TBH. Dont bitch about your problems, Your acting as if you should give up over that petty shit? You have no idea what hardship is. There's people fucking starving in other countrys. mothers seeing their daughters raped in africa.
and etc. I've been through hard times as well. Only thing you can do is stop dwelling on bullshit and deal with it when it comes. Soon as yopu realise that you will grow. Whining about it like a bitch wont help anything

So your rational is that we cater to this guy, don't cross any lines, keep him believing that everything that is happening to him is okay and will pass with age, that his current mood is acceptable? God forbid we hurt his feelings.

So in essence sure, try a do a little bit to improve your situation, but otherwise, just sit there like a bitch? Strong support.

The only positive about being in India (not much we can do for you there) is that I'm sure you have plenty of curry. The consumption of which aids in the release of endorphins in your body creating a natural high. Leads me to point number two.

When not reciting the holy Vedas, it is very unlikely that you are forced by your parents to remain stationary. Therefore, and though it has been mentioned before, when not tending to your cows you should probably slip on your sandals, fill your goatskin flask with milk (as it is likely very hot with the towel on your head) and go for a jog or a run. I can't begin to describe the benefits of exercise, endorphins again, but also a sense of accomplishment as you improve your lap time around the market.

Here in America I start everyday with a cold shower, not sure how bathing is done in Pakistan, but that gets me energized and ready for a day of being a citizen of the worlds greatest country. When it comes time for the weekly bathing, I suggest you try the stream instead of the old fashioned towel + bowl of water technique. It will wipe the smell of curry right off you.

Or, you can sit here, making more threads like these, accepting your problem as irreversible and living in the shadow of your brother for the rest of your life. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but here in my country competitiveness is a good thing, and despite the possible odds, I strive to push myself in school and athletics no matter what while balancing social interaction to keep myself sane.

    Sick and tired of life.

Dont get me wrong ppl i was never suggesting DO DRUGS. Id never suggest that to anyone cause i know what a bitch it can be when trying to quit... well honestly i never wanted to quit but being forced to quit so staying away from something i like is really hard. I guess i havent hit my "bottom" yet where the bad outweigh the good.

Using drugs is a form of suicide because eventually one hit will be your last one. Its one reason a lot tend to mess around with the harder shit. Also it does indeed ruin your body.

Honestly its hard to tell someone what to do in this situation, but 15? and feeling like this, thats kinda too soon. If you are feeling like that at this age, i can only imagine how harder its going to get if you dont find a solution. Thats what happened to me... as time goes by it only got worse. I guess my bipolar had been going undiagnosed for a long while. In therapy right now sorting this shit out.

If you believe its a big concern then seeking a counselor or having a talk with your family doctor is a step in the right direction. It could be just a phase.

EDIT: oh you live in india? shit

    This.

Stop giving stupid advice please. I don't live in India and I never will. After the first, last and only time I went there, I made a vow to never go back.
I don't want advice on taking drugs. I don't want advice to "quit whining". If you give any of these, you shall be reported for spam.

    Sick and tired of life.

I don\'t understand how people have this issue. I grew up with seven siblings and out of all of them I was the only one who knew how to get my parents to adapt to the rebelious way I was but still toeing the line and not getting kicked out. Before me my siblings were beat if they got bad marks, and sent to summer school to redo courses they got B\'s in. I never had that problem you just need to know how to slowly lure them in, it\'s sorta like manipulation but it\'s not really bad because your not trying to be mean or anything. Your just creatively getting them to adapt to who you are.

If worse comes to worse buy a laptop & hide it in your room, I did that when I was 10-12 eventually it got to the point where I didn\'t even have to hide it cause they had adapted to me not listening to a word they said.

Doesn\'t take too much talent to be a rebel >_>.

    Sick and tired of life.

**double post can\'t edit my post**

Oh and another tip for the depression...

You could take 5HTP it really helps it contains the amino acid tryptophan which is the amino acid which converts into seratonin & melatonin. Seratonin helps your depression and melatonin helps you get to sleep when you want to and keep a good sleepign pattern. It will take 2 weeks before the full effects kick in, but it\'s like magic... most people just don\'t wanna wait two weeks they\'d rather go pop E or w/e lol.

Speaking of drugs, I know this is going to probably sound stupid to you but listen anyways.
Psilocybin Mushroom (magic mush) is one of the healthiest drugs there is it has several medical uses and no bad side effects whatsoever. I can give you information and resources including peer-reviewed studies and University labs if you want. Nothing is wrong with the drug besides if you have schitzophrenia it can increase your symptoms but you seem fairly normal to me. Also if your dealer picks the shrooms himself (like 0.01% of mush dealers do this most use kits and the pickers are usually experienced) there\'s a possibility they will pick a dangerous look-a-like but chances are you\'d get struck by lightning instead. I encourage you to do the research yourself about this marvalous medicine, which is not addictive unlike most perscription drugs.

Most people find the month(s) after doing Psilocybin Mushrooms a lot more enjoyable and it can take people out of suicide, addictions, and even syndroms especially including OCD (it performs a sort-of self cognative curing method on your brain which will relieve the patient from their problems for months or even life).

    Sick and tired of life.

Two things. Drug possession in Malaysia carries the death penalty, as Necro has already said.

Secondly, magic mushrooms are not harmless. Even short term use can cause significant damage to the heart.

Not to mention the psychological damage to the brain.

Antidepressants help some people, but for me nothing has helped as of yet. There is nothing wrong with seeking help with depression, its better than to let it go on longer cause it will most likely get worse.

They do help most people, I saw a paper a while ago saying that use of some illicit drugs reduced the effectiveness of antidepressants in some cases. I'll try and dig it out later.
