iPhone 4, one huge flaw that makes it useless

So if your holding the phone, as you would hold any other phone, the chassis that doubles as an antennae is covered, and you can't use the internet or make calls.

There is nothing apple can do software wise to fix this issue, as they tried to be as resourceful as possible by taking the antennae out of the phone and making it part of the phone. This is a hardware issue, not a software. Unless they redesign the entire phone, this iPhone is a fail.

besides the fucking gay reception problem, I think it is exceptional, hardware wise. I prefer android.

I've looked this up after reading this and it appears that when your hands connect the two antennae it drops like mad. But if you use a Bumper or even a piece of tape, there isn't a change in reception. Bad call by Apple, and it's rather frustrating that they advise you to buy another one of their products to fix their own problem.

 

This will be great to use against my cocky, apple loving friends.

And does it have flash out of the box? I though Apple were against flash... I though you'd had to download third party software.

 

I need a phone for calling and texting i think iphones are the most stupidest thing who really needs all thoes apps? i think people have forgotten what a phone is actually used for.

The real reason is to call, to text, to communicate.... look at what the iphone has become. And it's so gay how people play games on the iphone, there are actual gaming consoles you play on.

As seen here, it's more likely then not just a software issue, and should be easily fixed.

 

Sorry, I thought we were talking about LED camera flash, not Adobe Flash.

There are some jailbreak ways to acheive flash, by using a pre-rendering web browser (Look up Skyfire, I don't think it's for iPhone though). But the fact that Jobs wont even consider Flash because HTML5 is going to rule the internet soon, is just ridiculous. 50% of current websites use some sort of flash. It's just on a long list of Apple bullshit that is just stupid.

- Developers have to use their SDK, and use their coding language (Objective C) if they want to have their app in the app store.
- Obviously the dictatorship over the app store.
- The fact that they want to control 100% of what is on your device
- The whole Flash-HTML5 conflict
- and the list goes on

Apple is honestly just a terrible company, but they make revolutionary products.

Iphones aren't good phones at all.

 

You fail to see the fact that those apps can be also handy (Though 90% of the apps are useless), a good way to burn time if you're waiting for something or on a trip, and a good distraction if you have children (And if you're brave!). Plus there isn't any point of having an iPod to play games on and listen to music when you can have it in a phone version.

Though I still hate Apple.

 

Flash wouldn't really work with a touch screen like the iPhone that uses multiple fingers, sliding and so on. And flash burns battery like nothing else.

That's because it's what the iPhone is supposed to run...
