Selling this rare white 40GB PlayStation 3 console that I purchased PERSONALLY when I was visiting Tokyo (Tokyo Games Festival).

I will obviously not be going first.
I would prefer to do an IRL meet (South-East of England).

Console is in MINT CONDITION.

I really don't know, I've never really seen one for sale before.

 

If I wanted to buy, how will we be trading? you feel safe using an OMM ?

 

I'm fine with trading in anyway that the buyer feels comfortable, I'd even be willing to set up an eBay page with a buy it now option so they can get it ASAP, this will stop any scamming .

I will only use an OMM in that is from England, and I will be needing their contact information (home phone number, address). I'd rather do an IRL meet anyway, I can travel.

Price is usually around $450-500 NEW, since this is USED. I'd say atleast $390 at the most + shipping, not trying to spam or say this isnt worth as much. But these models, if im correct are DISCONTIUED. No longer in production, So I dont think you guys should hesitate to buy. These consoles are legit and were made from manufacturer. If you want a base price, check out ebay. I'm not no PS3 history expert, but just letting on in on what I know.

They did also come with Final Fantasy versions of the Playstation 3 that were also white but had designs. I'd grab this here if I didnt have the ff version myself. I've never seen anyone with a white PS3 before in the UK, they're really rare here. You can't buy these from new here, unless you somehow had a friend in Japan who will send you one. This took me days to get anyway, the official Sony store in Tokyo city refused to sell me one because they know they're not even sold in Europe. By the way if anyone here ever gets the chance to go to Japan then take that opportunity; it honestly is such a breathtaking place.

Sadly to say the eBay bid did not end well because the reserve was not met, but the highest bid was £191 (286.792 USD according to XE on 25/06/10). Remember, the reserve was not yet met.

You can find that eBay bid here (I hope it's OK to post that, it's an ended auction). If I'm honest I would like a little bit higher than that, I really would like to have a set price but I honestly don't know.

What? No? I don't even have you added on MSN, nor do I have any PMs from you? I know I have a terrible memory and often browse this forum high as a kite, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't forget you (you would been the first person I would have discussed a trade with).

I would never even consider swapping my PS3 for a RuneScape account, if I thought it was worth it I would have done that already. Please, unless you're going to post proof of these claims then stop spamming my thread.
