Guide to transferring usernames.

i really dont understand, so you change ur name, it gets set to numbers, then you can transfer ?

 

I've done this with a few names, but I don't do this with my rare names.
It's not a safe method at all unfortunatly. Also it takes 28 days to change your name twice and transfer it safely and succesful, not 2 months.

 

The second it gets reset to numbers it becomes avaliable.

Yes, it's not very safe but it works.

So can you take your other character's login name, or just their display name?

Either one works, but on the new account it will just be display. The login name is always tied to that account.
