lol i remember trading full rune for my first green mask, then before trade limit i would buy members treasure trails(wizard t and g, strength ammy t's black g t ect ect) and i was making upwards of 1m-2m an hour with the forums it was great then the price thing came and im not a huge fan of the grand exchange merchin

 

Might crash, but never to what they were back in the day. As stated before, money is getting easier and easier to get :/

Unless someone ragequits and sells their rares in GE, it is impossible for the price of rares to go down, rares can pretty much only be bought at street price anyway which is always more than what's listed in GE. So theoredically, no, there will NEVER be a "rare crash".
