Requesting a Pardon for Discord Ban

Dear Sythe Moderators,

I am writing this letter to express my sincere apology for any racist attitudes or behaviors that I may have displayed towards Black individuals. I understand that racism is a harmful and pervasive issue that has caused deep pain and suffering for many people, and I deeply regret any role that I may have played in perpetuating it.

I understand that the impact of racism can be both immediate and long-lasting, and that the hurt and damage caused by even one instance of discrimination or prejudice can be severe. As a result, I am committed to taking responsibility for my actions and making a concerted effort to educate myself about the history and experiences of Black people.

I acknowledge that my ignorance and lack of understanding has contributed to the perpetuation of systemic racism, and that it is my responsibility to listen and learn from the experiences of Black individuals, and to use my voice and privilege to advocate for change. I commit to actively seeking out opportunities to learn and grow, and to challenge any attitudes or behaviors that are rooted in prejudice or discrimination.

Finally, I understand that my apology is just the first step in a much larger journey towards creating a more just and equitable society. I am committed to doing the hard work that is necessary to help dismantle the structures of oppression that have long existed in our world, and to doing my part to create a world that is truly inclusive and welcoming for all people.
