Unbanning , Payed him Back!

Alright, Well latley I've seen a few threads of people make disputes for there bans because they payed what they scammed back. Now , This is absurd..

Now, I know is says make another appeal , no that hes un banned yet but to even consider to unban someone because they pay the person back is crazy?

They say that because AFTER it is paid back, then they will consider the dispute. Basically they do that because if they say yes or no to the person, then they may or may not pay it back. This way, people are less inclined to scam, because they take the risk that if they scam, then repay the person to try and get unbanned, then they may simply remain banned for scamming.

Just paying the person back is the pre-req for having your case considered.

 

If the person openly admits to scamming but says he has repaid the victim and he wants to be unbanned, they don't have a chance.

I think the only way someone gets unbanned for scamming is if their Sythe account was hacked. Of course they would have to provide solid evidence of this. If the evidence is accepted and they repay the person who the hacker scammed, they are to be unbanned.

 

Each case is unique to the member, his history, the member who filed the issue and the circumstances of the trade/purchase. Scamming, getting caught and attempting to pay back does not allow you back. Trust me, members do not see all the details upper staff can see. If a member is allowed back, I totally support the process/staff making the decision.

Usually, we only allow people to be unbanned after paying people back if they were hacked.
