The US; clutch.

Their biggest weakness is the tie. Put them into the knock-out stages and I reckon they'll be a force. Looking at a potential Germany game - stoked.

England, still failed to impress - I won't be shocked if Germany\Serbia beats them.

This is why we watch the World Cup. Can't wait for the knock-outs to start.

 

The USA got very lucky. Donovan is an extremely good player, though they should have picked up more of the chances they had.

Nice to see England and the USA through in Group C!

 

I wouldn't say lucky. They were unlucky at best. They've been robbed twice this tournament via the mystery call - which would of given them 7 points, comfortably in first place. Dempsey has to step up for the United States; five great scoring chances with nothing? We aren't talking about Wayne Rooney (ha) now.

 

And somehow we did it.

Refs need to also pull there heads out their asses.

 

As I suspected, The US clutched it in the last few minutes.

I have to admit, I was pretty worried through the 80-90th minute, but once I saw the drive with Dempsey, Donovan, and Altidore, I knew it was a goal.

And Verts, they may have gotten "Lucky" but the US team ALWAYS does this, they clutch within the times you think they are going to lose.

England played decent and the man of the match is probably Defoe.

 

Exactly. I honestly don't give a shit if people call us 'lucky'. Because it is totally the oppisite. We got fucked over twice on perfectly good goals, and Clint Dempsey should of had more than 3 goals at today's game.
