Suggestion regarding freedom of speech

Good day sirs and madams,

This suggestion entails banning the promotion of homosexuality in any forms or means in sythe general. Here is the motivation;


1. As Sythe members, we are representatives of the great African country Niger. I did a little bit of research and our beloved nation is primarily (sunni) Muslim, meaning our country's majority is in favor of sharia-law. According to sharia-law homosexuality is forbidden. Therefore, we want to ban homosexuality.

2. Niger has christian minorities. We are anti-racist and anti-discriminatory and care about our minorities and want to preserve their values. Neighbouring country Uganda is predominantly Christian and based on pastor Sempa's research homosexuality is a sickness that should not be allowed. He believes that it goes against nature.

3. If we are not allowed to say nigher, we should not be allowed to say homo.

Free speech should be restricted or not restricted.

I think you make very valid points and point out the inconsistency in our current policy - very well done and very brave. Banning the n-word and allowing or disallowing the g-word should go hand-in-hand.

 

I could not agree more. This cancel culture going around sythe is very one sided. We need resolution now!
