Diablo II....Is it dead?

So I was chilling with my cousin the other day, and he was scolding me for playing Runescape and WoW for so long, and convinced me to buy Diablo II. I fooled around with it for a while...and then it just sorta died. I think I'm a sucker for graphics, and since its so much like WoW but worse graphics, I didn't like it as much.

Is there still an active community on Diablo II or is it mostly dead? How anticipated is Diablo III (Beta)?

D2 is definitely not dead, and D3 is extremely hyped up.

D2 is still very alive, I play it all the time.

 

Diablo is like the best game but don't buy it download a torrent and pm me and i'll give you a battle.net serial key save yourself some cash.

 

you certainly must be a sucker for graphics if you didn't enjoy diablo 2, also the expansion is probably something you should torrent, it helps out with the game, but most of the time it already comes with diablo 2. Anyways yes Diablo 3 is going to be one of the best games out, probably not for the Koreans with their starcraft 2 but for the people that played diablo 2 and loved it and people who played good rpg/mmos that want to join a loot and monster grind fest, just about anyone really.

 

lol there are tons of people who play it on all realms combined it rivals runescapes population and as for communities there are lots of them. though I can't gives sites out it's against the rules

 

it is alive as i play it from time to time and D3 is very hyped, supposed to be one of the best pc games in the last 5 years?

Quite old now... nearly a decade old o.o

 

My friend brings a lot of his friend in skype/vent to play it with him. I guess they're actually releasing Diablo III soon.
