    Sick and tired of life.

As the title says, I've just gotten sick of life. I live my life the way it is now not for myself, but for other selfish individuals calling themselves my parents.

Every single day, it's the same old boring routine and I'm so fucking sick of it. My parents always want and expect me to get good marks in school and scream bloody murder when I don't, which is as often as the sun shines. Every morning when I wake up, instead of being thankful I've got another day on this world, I curse and swear because I've lived through another night.

Nothing in my life is fun any more. I can't go out with friends, I can't watch television or use the computer as often as I'd like. I have absolutely nothing to look for and depression is all around me. My family makes my every waking moment a misery.

So long story short, I don't see why I should continue living this miserable, pathetic life any more.

I feel for you, I am in the exact same situation with my family, I feel like I have torn it apart because I stood up to what I thought was right and now I hate myself for it. May I ask how old you are? And you might want to seek out a good counseler to explain your situation but the best advice I have ever recieve was to stand my ground, in any situation against anyone. You might also be going through a phase where life isn't worth living because many people like me have gone through that stage and sometimes I have rough days, weeks and such that make me think that my life isn't worth living for.

Stand your ground and value life more and try to get the best out of it.

I am 15. And no, I can't get a counselor. My parents would go apeshit and they'd get unwanted attention. All the more reason for them to hate me. God, I can't be more like my perfect-med-school-all-A's-brother.
    Pathetic.

I am also 15, have to live up to my older brother and sisters reputation of being very smart students and don't fear your parents, I think it would be worth it if you told them what you feel because maybe they could then see the problems but if they are too inconsiderate about there own son then they truely are sad, pathetic humans.

    Sick and tired of life.

I know from personal experience, parents normally can't be reasoned with. For whatever reason, they feel like they are right in every case, when arguing with their children.

I have sent you a private-message with my MSN. I encourage you to add it, I think I can help.

That is actually very true vegury, my parents were very difficult to reason with to start with and it took over a year and a few suspensions from school to realize I had a problem, they were to naive to realize I sat up everynight crying myself to sleep but my problems aren't want need to be discussed anymore and I feel although I'm about the hi-jack Necro's thread.

Nerco, I don't have much else to say but best of luck with your problems and if you want to talk you can PM me. It always helps to talk to someone.

Hey Necro, check it out, your 15 years old. Believe it or not, they are shaping you into a more concrete individual. When you get older you will realize. Trust me, I had the same pressure on me at your age and when I got into college, away from my parents, I was not only able to party hard, but also able to maintain a good grade point average. Life only gets better Necro, you'll start driving, have more freedoms, go out and discover the world. Just keep pushing through!

If you need someone to talk to feel free to PM me for my MSN.

You're depressed because your parents want you to get good grades...? School isn't that hard. I get really good grades and it's not much of an impediment on what I want to do...it's just something you have to deal with. How much schoolwork could you have that you can't do anything else?

And isn't it summer for you? Worries over? Well, it's like that for me.

Damn, Necro. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time man. You really are letting yourself down too much, just keep your chin up and agree with them. Try taking school alot less seriously, and have a laugh and chill with your mates, but just try and maintain a sound school record.

Work hard, and enjoy your life, you only live once. If you want to have a chat, pm me for my MSN.

    Sick and tired of life.

It's for your own good, the day your sitting in your massive house when your older you will remember all the support and encouragement. But still you should be allowed to have a childhood, don't let it all get to you because when you reach 18, how about emigrating somewhere else so you no longer have to deal with them!

I'm sort of in the same situation you know how they say you should always end up better than your parents, at the moment its not looking that way I'm more likely to just inherit their wealth when I'm older.

But I will still strive to make something of myself!

    Sick and tired of life.

Thats exactly my life. Living for others. Drugs were the way i found to cope with this sort of life. It was my miracle cure... however was forced off of them again by the same selfish people and now back to the same way i was before. Wonder if my next attempt will actually be a successful one.

Drugs are useless. They're a huge waste of time and money. It's a poor excuse because your life isn't as entertaining as you would like it to be.

As for the OP. I suggest getting a job. I'm not being sarcastic. It'll occupy you, and give you money. Until you are 16, you can only legally work 3 hours a day. But still. You could mow lawns or something. It could make your parents proud, and give you more privileges and opportunities to hang out with friends. Don't give up on life. When it kicks you in the ass, you can't be a coward and have thoughts of ending it.

    Sick and tired of life.

You have no idea why some people use drugs. Some use to suppress an awful and traumatic event that have happened to them when they were younger or are still happening to them. Please dont just spit out prejudice. This is the exact close minded talk that is REALLY useless.

Sure its a fake escape and a fake illusion but its how they can cope.

    Obviously he does.

Yes, people use drugs to cope with rough times in their life, but to a certain extent, think back to a time where parents said, "Don't use Drugs" it's got a very valuable point behind it.

The fact is, you, in your mind are thinking of the phenomena of what the drug is doing to you, although what your doing is only really shooting a needle, snorting a substance, and ruining your body.

    Sick and tired of life.

As much as you resent them for trying to force you into success, they really do have your best interests at heart.
It really won't be that long before you can move out, and if you want to leave your family behind altogether.

And finally, in the short time I've known you you've made yourself out as a kind and considerate person. Your parents aren't trying to annoy you, only trying to set up the best life for you.

    Sick and tired of life.

If you think life is at rock bottom, it can only get better right? Be positive about it, think about the good things you DO have in your life not those that aren't so good which will boost your self esteem a little bit.

Why are you so down about it all though? You're so young, you have a whole life to look forward to and prosper in. You should be excited for the future, school is just a drag for everyone but once you're finished with it, if you put the effort in, you will be rewarded.

Just try and talk to someone, surely you have teachers or someone at school you can just quietly talk to and get advice from without being public about it and your parents finding out.

Hopefully you start to see the good things in life, as little as there might seem to be. If you ever need to talk, send me a PM mate.
