Should i buy a PS3 or XBOX?

i prefer ps3... the only reason i would want a 360 is that all of my friends have one so id like to play with them. if my friends were to get a ps3 then i would not have any doubts about it

 

yeah thanks guys, now i just have to convince the parents to give me the okay. they are convinced that i need to save all my money for college... but i do not need beer money, all i need is spending money and i got that i think so... just gotta talk my way through them is all!!

Most definitely an Xbox. The sports games ( Nba, Nfl ) are epic..so are the killing games ( MW2 , Halo )

 

the sports games are also on PS3... and MW2, killzone, uncharted, kinda beat out halo. even though i love the game it is over after reach.. so it is better this way.

The pole is closed, but I'm still going to put in my opinion: The only game I found actually worth my time on the PS3 was "Fat Princess".

Xbox 360 has the best games, although, I still want to give M.A.G. a try...

They give free live because it's far worse then the xbox live online community. I know many PS3 users that have laggy connections you fucking dumbass, - Use a certain type of connection to prevent much lag is such ridiculous bullshit.

PS3's are way too expensive, blu-ray is for watching DVD's and such. If xbox gamers want better quality they can get a different cord that plugs into the TV from the xbox with HD, costs barely anything.

All online connections can be laggy depending on the server and your own internet speed.

You can hack/mod PS3's too you idiot, you can glitch on PS3's just you can on xbox, get over it.

- Pay 70$ for a wireless free connection...wow you idiot you can play it through your computer if you wanted to, plug in an ethernet cable and many other ways then using a wireless adapter.

- Slow DL rate - what are you talking about? theres nothing wrong with the DL speed on xbox, might possibly have to do with the individuals internet connection.

First of all if you are going to post pro's and con's of each maybe you should actually do that and post some positives AND negatives of each.

The controller situation is clearly bullshit, the layout hardly effects anything but just putting it out there: PS3 controllers are ridiculously tiny for the average hand, maybe they fit well to little bk's that play PS3.

- Give you demos of EVERY game coming out soon BEFORE its out - fairly sure you can get demo's of games on xbox too. And the games on xbox are more exclusive (Eg. The Halo games)

It may have come out that I sounded angry which I was at the time but the flaming was a tad unnecessary on my behalf and I appologize for that but honestly, you INT-R_D_F need to get your facts correct because most of them were very inncorrect (hence the reason I was getting angry).

PS3 vs Xbox will be a never ending battle because there are so many different perspectives of each console, just like Runescape can barely be compared to WoW because they are very different games although they are both played on PC's.

Thank you for accepting my apology, but I'm afraid some of the arugments that you stated WERE inncorrect (I tried to show some of those in my original post) I have played both consoles but only bought an xbox because I deemed it a better console but then again everyone has there own opinion.
