How to establish a reputation?

I can agree with some of that. I mean you have to be patient here. I remember when I just started and only was in the Xbox section thinking "god I wanna be as known as Bro Sky" now I'm a highly known person even outside of the Xbox forum in just a little over a year. You ask about rep, I've had actually a big deal involving staff when I was accused of scamming and I said it was faked, when I did a large investigation and found out staff did really make a huge mistake on banning me.

My rep didn't take a hit when I got banned for a few weeks til something clicked and I checked the emails in the "proof" and all of them were faked. So once you're known it's hard to have people not respect you.

 

I would say I have done decently for having been on Sythe for roughly 6 months ; )

Honestly the best way is to explore Sythe and become familiar with all the different areas and all the people on Sythe.

 

Why do you so often copy the Current Active... Thingy into you're posts?

As all others have said, just don't refuse to use an MM, be active and donate ;P

 

Yea, I did really well in my first 6-8 months too but I've had some rough spots but never got my rep hit.

Ontopic: Just start up a training service or sell pins. Gradually work up and you'll have a lot of trust. Just give it time.

 

Just continue being a good member, you lose some and you win some. If you get scammed just report it to the staff and let them take care of it. Only way to actually gain reputation is to be a good member of the community.

 

There's a lot of members on this forum. Just go around helping those in need. After a while, you'll have a good set of users to stand behind you because they know that you're a good person, and can rely on you when they need help.

However, don't let people abuse your help. This could lead to very many bad things.

Just help others out and keep distance as you see fit. Good luck.
