Groups(users)

I thInk this forum should enable user groups. The one in profiles.


This would allow more congregation amongst members and would be a useful addition to the communitY.

I've been on a forum before with private group forums behind it and it was very cool.

You could make it open to join or require approval.

Leaders picked all staff and stickys etc etc...

Rules were pretty much post whatever you want that wasn't ridiculous.

Is that what you mean?

What he means is groups, like clans..almost, likes a gamers group or w/e, like on HF? If im getting you. But i always dreamed of this for sythe, doubt it'll happen. Support anyway. :love:

Except groups were usually formed by users themselves and the leader of the group chooses who to let in, who to invite, and who to ban from the group

Like, what you said haha, just idk how firez said it, like on HF? Like a gamers group that someone can start, choose members they have a forum and such just no rank?

 

I'm talking about private group forums. The exact same thing as the front page but only members of each group can see there group forums.


It would be like everyone's own spam forum, per say.

Either under User CP and Quick Links there would be a link to access these private forums.

Bungie for Halo 2 and Halo 3 has this.

The only forum I know of that has this is namepros.com

True but not really worth it. There wouldn't be a lot of support or use for it

i seen a forum with gang wars, you could create a gang (group) and allow members to join and only members could see your topic ect ect
