Guide Verifiers - Sort it out!

Ok, to the 3 remaining guide verifiers.
Please make sure the guide actually makes the amount claimed by the person selling it, don't just make sure it works.

For example, I just bought a '50m/hour RWT guide', when in theory it is only transferring me 5-8m/hour.

He claims with max Quest points on both accounts I will be able to transfer 50m/hour, but he cannot prove this as he doesn't even have an account with max quest points.

So yes, the guide is legit, but it does not transfer anywhere near as much as he says. I trade around 8m/hour with 183 quest points, if 50m/hour is proved, I'll be ridiculously surprised.

Also, he claims it works with F2P also. Little did he mention that if you do it with F2P it is 10x slower.

So please, make sure what you're verifying is really what you think you're verifying..

 

This should really go under feedback if I'm honest. It would be hard for someone to verify that, as not everyone has two accounts with max quests.

 

They should have to run through it, a whole cycle to see if it does work.

 

If it doesn't xfer as much as they claim it xfers, we will tell them to change their thread before verifying it.

 

Why wasn't it done in this scenario?

 

I was speaking for myself. Not for the other verifiers. I do what I said I did. You'll have to ask the others if they do so as well.

 

agreed. not only should the guide verifiers be looking at it that it works, but that the amount and what it can do is correct (that includes requirements) we don't want people think a guide is legit, buying it, and then they cannot even use it

They should test it before making up figures

 

Usually transfer guides are done for 5 or 10 minutes and then multiplied out to get the rate per hr.

 

Yeah that's where I meant to put it, my bad. And they can't claim something if they haven't even tried it.

Exactly. If I were to kill 5 monsters, and I happened to hit very high on those 5 and I was getting on average at that time 200k exp/hour, that does not mean my guide to kill these monsters will make 200k exp/hour.

Guide verifiers should be verifying guides that have realistic expectations.
