Paint Shop Pro help

Whenever I edit a pic on paint shop pro (7)
I still use 7 cause ive mastered it good as hell.

But everytime i save it, it wont let me save it cause its a Paintshop pro file.
what do i put after the period? For example. Lacuna.mpeg?
What do i put so i can upload on the internet?

 

Uhh if your asking what image format, go for png.
