For the past 20-30 minutes I've been flicking through the non-virtual items section and frankly, it's a huge mess. I'm proposing that we choose one or two moderators for the Non-virtual items section (perhaps a small test for a new moderator). It's a valued and active section that many people merchant with.

Edit: I've had someone post that this is on the DNS list, so I'll change the idea. We need more moderator activity in this section.

    Some examples:
http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=850672 - Selling porn accounts - open for an entire DAY.
http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=851301 - Buying items for drugs - open for 9 hours.
http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=849318 - A thread selling a (possibly) leaked moneymaking method with an argument and plenty more spam.

Edit: Kadaj has taken some responsibility after seeing this thread and cleaned up those threads. Thanks for this, but the market is a big section and he can't take it all.

Not all market moderators know everything about every section. Maybe they know plenty about runescape, but nothing about xbox live/aion.

P.S. Kadaj has taken a look at those specific threads.

I'm not talking about the average idiots (or nonconformists). I'm talking about the little things, like the verification argument in thread 3. All one has to do would be to offer to verify it or have the therad closed.

Or in the xbox/aion section, when there are specific scams that all markets might not pick up.

No new mods are needed, the market mods just need to be informed to keep an eye on that section.

    Might I add:
    DNS

Fine, market mods should be encouraged to have a look at this section.

No support. Let the market mods take care of it. You don't need to have a Ph.D to lock, infract and archive the threads that break the rules.

Kadaj looks like he might be having a looksie at that forum now that he's closing threads. Problem solved.

We don't need more moderators at the moment.
