Dragon Chain is a waste of money. Not much better then Rune plate and is totally unstable in the economy. Torso is extremely inexpensive and can suffice for most play situations. Dragon Plate is simply to expensive to be affordable for mid level players.

Do it legit. It isn't hard to get at all. That or, have someone on Sythe do it for you. There are tons of people that will do it for free if you have the required levels.

To gain further renown for the sake of their business. There are many out there who are offering free services to build up enough trust from fellow members to run a respectable business and charge for it.

 

Exactly as Criterion stated. Users want to gain more reputation by doing free services that they would normally charge for. This allows them to gain enough vouches to be able to sell a service that they would not be able to offer otherwise.

I've seen this on the net before. I personally dislike the vestment robes and don't see why anyone would choose to match these up with their blue phat over the dozens of other possibilities. If i had the money to own a blue phat i'd go with something a little more exotic like third age or war chief clothing.
