Lvl 1 Combat - 1 HP

So today in IRC my friend PMed me with a screenshot link. I clicked it and I found this amazing picture.



Is there any sort of explanation to this? Or was it just a glitch in the RSC > RS2 transition?

If you check his Adventurer's Log you'll see that all of his combat stats are 1.

The player was probably Stat-Wiped, in Classic, for macroing.

 

Yes, ^ that is the case. There are a few level 1 Hp accounts out there on RS. One of the most known ones is Life Hated.

Very real, and very rare. This is the second active account with 1hp I believe, the first being Life Hated. Those accounts were stat wiped back in RSC and never logged onto until RS2 which let them keep 1hp.

There have been many threads on this recently and though I've been on forums for 4+ years and NEVER heard anything about this, people seem to act like "oh yeh, those guys are around". Very surprising I've only heard of this recently, out of all the cheating sites I've been on and forums I've read I would have thought it would have been mentioned before.

 

There seems to have been a big wave of account recoveries lately.
I've seen quite a few 9hpers (bought one myself) for sale too.

 

There's a famous guy called "Life Hated" look him up on YouTube

Yeah, their stats were whiped. All noobs got up their combat but a few lazy guys, who kept their HP at 1. Remember that you start with level 10 HP.

i believe this account was locked up, and recently recovered. thats why its not very known.

Someone made a thread with a list of all the players who got statwiped back in RSC... maybe people have been picking names from there and recovering. I know I've tried (but failed and gave up).

My thoughts exactly. It's probably a display name, but not a fitting one at all.
