If it was a video of him DDoSing he should be banned. It is against the rules completely here. If someone was to come across the video and report him for it, instead of him being a complete idiot and posting if of himself doing it. He would have been banned and there would have been no further discussion over it.

Owning a botnet/having anything to do with them is bannable. We banned an ex mod, 7k+ posts because of his association with activities like this.

 

If you DDoS you deserve to have your thread locked. Benwise did exactly as he should have.
