Gotta love the hypotheticals.

Anyways, if there were 5 things you could change about the world and the way it is today, what would they be and why?

 

1) Religion would be non existent.
2) Everyone would have a sufficient supply of clean water and food.
3) Every disease has a cure.
4) No poverty.
5) No crime.

I win.

 

I have to be honest, didnt expect the first poster to have ideas of a utopia. I expected the typical greed.

 

Religion is everything. No religions equals no thoughts: everything you think is a theory so it's a religion.

 

You can have thought without religion? Religion is a mindless following, people don't question the religion they're in. Religion isn't a theory either, it's a lie, a form of control, a set of laws created by man. As for the stories, I'd call them fiction. Harry Potter isn't a theory is it?

 

1)Legalize Marijuana.
2)No Tax
3)No Crime
4)Every type of Cancer had a cure
5)Slaves

 

I think that there should be the following 5 thinks that would make the world perfect;

1) No Arguments, Lies or Heartbreaks.
2) Equal Money, Equal Power
3) Everybody has the food & water to live a long life
4) The whole death penalty
5) Corporal Punishment

 

Number 2 seems a bit communist.

 

Do you have any proof to justify your statement? I can have all the thoughts in the world and none of them have to be based on religion.
Besides, since when did every theory become a religion? Does the theory of evolution create a religion? It's quite the opposite, don't you think?

Anyway...

1) No disease.
2) Everyone had enough resources to meet basic needs. (This ties to poverty).
3) No violent or petty crime that could hurt another human or animal.
4) Religion was about pacifism and tolerance.
5) No racism.

1. Death Sentence to anyone who commited any serious crime.
2. Equal opportunities whether the person is poor/wealthy

3. A new world would be available for more resources and space for our growing population.
4. Allow only tazer guns as firearms
5. Everyone must stay in shape.


I know most of you will criticize some of those, but I honeslty wish it were like that.

 

I really agree with number 5.
It'll definitely help our society live a lot longer and be healthier.

Change the world without anything to be put into it?

Cure world stupidity

educate everyone

Feed, nurture, and educate all children

Kill all sex offenders who have been deemed "uncurable"

Changing the world to be perfect as you all want it would make it very dull and boring without much conflict but hey I'll go along with it.

I know countless many people who questioned their religion many times before actually becoming a devote follower.

1. educate everyone
2. teach humility
3. have a true democracy (rather than the rubbish, they call democracy now)
4. help people understand faith
5. spread love and compassion

 

Because Bin-Laden killed thousands of people. Wouldn't a world without the Soviets, North Koreans, and Americans be any better? Your singling out one person. What about Hitler, Nehru, Kim-Jong, Fadel Castro etc..
