Not saying anyone likes Gucci; He's a fag/fail.
But, you know Tupac is way better and real than most rappers.
    Right??

The fact that you said the list is fairly bad shows that you have absolutely no clue what real rap is, that is not my opinion, that is fact.
For someone to say that modern rap is better than the Tupac or Biggie era makes me laugh out loud.

I'm sure you do. You know SO MUCH ABOUT RAP.

What makes them better? Their beats? No. Their flow? No.

Modern stuff is more catchy, truer, means more, etc. Nobody cares if your life is a dream and if you grew up in poverty. That's not what people want to hear. They want to hear rapping. Not your life story about how shitty your life was.

Why not? You life story, ect. Thats real life.
And what makes it better is its lyrics.
Wtf is "Hop up out da bed, turn my swag on" compared to Tupac: "plus this my homie from high school, he's getting bye, It's time to bury another brotha nobody cry"

Thats real, Tupac is obviously real.

    Amen.

I listen to everything and evaluate it based on how good it is, unlike your biased, opinionated self. And really, I don't care if you don't like screamo as it takes a shit load more skill than you have in anything. You're probably going to say 'anyone can scream shit in a mic,' go try it and see how it turns out. Like shit.

Turn my swag on isn't shit.

And really, who cares if it portrays some random ass persons story. What makes theirs any better than mine? If I were to rap my life story would you like it? No, you'd bitch and moan about how it sucks even though it's doing exactly what you said is good.

Haha, I hope this is a troll because this argument is pitiful. Name one rapper that has better beat, better rhyme, and better flow than Tupac or Biggie.

Modern stuff is more catchy? Maybe. More true? Hell god damn no. Who are you to say what people want to hear? Obviously people want to hear their stories because I would estimate all of these rappers have sold over 400 million (probably more) albums put together.

If it rhymed, and was true shit.
Then yea, i'd listen to it.
But don't mean i'd like it.
But it would be better than some gay swagga nigger shit

I somewhat get what he's saying. Not really but I'd rather listen to new rap, preferably Gucci, at a party rather than old, played out songs.

I understand what he is saying too but the fact that he is saying everyone on the list above is fairly bad is a joke. If you consider these icons and legends of hip-hop and rap bad you don't have an opinion on this matter. Especially when you listen to no skill screamo shit.

    Says you.

I really don't care about album sales. If they lived and produced in the ERA we did, it would be less than half of that. People couldn't download music, pirate it, etc.

They actually had to buy it, unlike these current times.

No you wouldn't listen to it. You wouldn't like it either.
At least I'm in the general ball park. Green Day isn't even screamo. Not by any standards.

    About screamo, thats very true.
It takes more skill to scream than rap.
But rapping and making it make since and sound good also takes lots of skill

You never answered my question, what modern rapper has better rhyming and flow than Tupac and Biggie?

Of course it would be lower but they would still outsell our current "rappers"
