Which is the best PVP class

Depends on gear, quickness, and if you know how to actually PVP with your class.

 

Yes, but that was because I was bad at Warlock. You'd stated it yourself; if we had switched classes, you would've won anyways.

This isn't a debate over the functionality of certain specs, though, you're correct. Fire Mages and Balance Druids don't have a lot of broad utility (i.e. Frost Mages' Frost Nova & Ice Barrier, good in nearly all situations) was my point.

 

Wait, when was the last time you actually beat a mage? I mean I suck and I run circles around you so....

I guess it really just depends on what you want to do. Every class has it's own pvp style. Are you going to be pvp with friends? solo? Do you want to have lots of bursts, or be a pain in the ass to kill? ect.

 

Implying you're the only mage i know.

Yes they do. It just shows again that you're making spurious claims about classes you can neither play or know even the theory of playing.

 

I don't think there is a best pvp class. It's the player that makes the character great. All classes are strong against some and weak against others. I would play what you want to play and master that class, then you'll be great. Good luck!

 

I've heard a mage/rogue combo in 2's is extremely broken/over-powered.

Try that, or make one of those two classes...

Hunters > Mages, Paladins, Druids, Rogues, Warriors, Warlocks, Shamans, DK's
the only class they might have problems with are priests.

 

That depends how it's played. My brother was a pro at PvP on his hunter, I don't really know much about WoW anymore, but he had one of the highest ratings on his server...if the player knows what they're doing, the class doesn't really matter. I'd take a competent and skillful player of a lesser class than an unskilled 80 of a over powered class.

hey this is from the perspective of a 4x gladiator

if you want a free ticket into the gladiator bracket keep playing the shadow priest, they are extremely easy to play, all comps involving shadow priests are basically faceroll and any idiot can do it and its just OP

if you are really good and want to play a class with a higher skill cap, try playing the mage or warlock
both of those classes are only as good as the player behind the character so if youd rather just be carried by your class go with the shadowpriest

Resto Druids are OP and have no counter, whatsoever. They can heal through anything. Ever seen one in a battleground? They're fucking invincible. 5 on 1, and the resto druid will come out without a scratch.

 

Not necessarily. As a shaman I can purge their HoTs and take advantage of instant lava bursts to really get their health down fast.

 

Lol, maybe at TBC. I think, nowadays, any class can get down any healer without particular difficulty if you can play.

 

Not really, no class/spec can bring down a Holy Paladin 1v1, or a Resto Druid except for maybe an insanely PvE geared DK or lock..

 

What? Pretty much any DPS can down a paladin or druid.. Some may take longer than others.

OT: Shamans are in a good position right now, mostly due to ele and enhance (beast cleave).

Paladins are efficient and honestly the easiest to do well with. But if you're thinking longevity, don't go paladin. They're getting nerfed in cata.

Warriors can be good if you PvE a shit-ton. Same with hunters.

All the classes are good for PvP as long as you're good with good partners.

 

Resto druids are easy as hunter just Tranquilizing Shot and Silencing Shot at the right time and they are dead in no time.
