Are you racist?

Let me a correct that statement, they take the jobs Americans are to lazy to take themselves.
Without immigrants the United States would be far worse economically.

 

I'm not racist. Just stereotypical and prejudice towards that African-American community that act obnoxious and ignorant.

 

Well, this can not be justified by asking just a group of people on a forum site. Personally I don't think racism exists. Yes, some people do not like certain races due to how the majority of them act as all races have many 'clicks' which are different from the other races. This can form dislike of the other race. It does not mean you are a racist or hate them because of their skin color or ethnic group it's just the 'click' or the way the other race typically thinks. This is not a racial remark as it's the truth. I'm not pointing fingers as if I was, I'd be pointing at myself too. Hints why people do point fingers though, saying somebody is a typical ethnic group because the majority act that way. That is wrong, I wouldn't call it racist though. Yes, for the longest times ethnic groups have their own ways of acting, expressing their feelings and so forth. It does not make them any less of a person, yes?

Example: An old story my mother told me. She went to Paris when she was in college and the French treated her horribly. It's because the French do not like Americans as they think we are 'stuck up' and so forth. That does not mean everyone is like that. Yes, there's groups of 'stuck up' people out there but it doesn't mean the whole race should be classified as wrong just because of one 'click'.

 

I'm not racist at all, I strongly discourage racism but occasionally I accidently make a racist remark

I'm not a racist and racism isn't really a big thing here in Denmark, so I just make fun with it with my friends, who are another race than me and stuff.

I can be stereotypical, but not racist. Racist to me is when you believe that your race is more superior then another and in turn discriminate against and all that which follows. Prejudice and stereotypical are somewhat similar and I believe that is the category I fall in due to my upbringing. I don't hate a race at all though.

I am racist in the sense that if I see a foreign person in my country, and they are doing something illegal, are in jail or are making absolutely no contribution to society. It just winds me up when I see a person that is obviously not originally from this country (UK) who creates problems for the country. The way I see it, we should just have a 'Behave or get the hell out.' policy, if people aren't worth having because they are criminals, or just don't have anything to offer and their families do not originate from here, then kick them out.
But apart from that, Racism is disgusting. Totally unacceptable, there is no reason at all to hate a person purely because they are different to you.

Native Americans were immigrants to at one point. They weren't just thrown on the land. As with every other country.
