Honestly? People can DDoS your IP, that's just a safety issue, but if Jagex sees the name they can ban the account. Ever wonder why everyone has IP and name blocked out?

 

Even if they do something with the IP, you can easily change it, and the IP itself changes from time to time. And Jagex can't ban the account because I've posted tons of names here and none got banned. How could names be sold then...? Jagex can't ban accounts because there is no proof that this account hasn't been stolen/hacked or that stats/name were altered, and that the acc was even in my possession (which in this certain case isn't).
Anyway. The one who should worry about all the ban/hacking problems should be I and my friend. As we both agreed on not blocking either username nor IP, there is no more discussion needed.

So I'd say thanks for worrying but it'll stay the way it is.
