A tranfer kit is actually made so you can add all your save data from one hdd onto your new one. A lot of people use them fo modding. Can you mod with flash drives now?

Yea, the transfer cable will let you have a modded gamertag if you know how to do it, but a quick google search will tell you. I guess you can mod with a usb drive now but i have no clue and no interest in learning if you can.
