Eh it's actually a rather big hassle for under 21 to drink. It's much easier if it was legal at 18.

I think it should be 18 as the drinking age, but who wants tons of alcoholics in their society. We'd be no better than russia!

It might as well be 16... because im 16 and i can get alcohol pretty easily so it kinda a useless law.
I think drinking in pubs ect.. should be 18+

I'm English, the legal age for pubs etc. is 18. Pretty much when your 18 here, you're free.

Where I live, most people drink, lets say....15+

I mean like, he said there too "Immature"
Well that would mean they would be getting to drunk and get introuble.
Does it matter that there Immature with it? Cause they'd learn from there mistakes and get introuble if they did something dumb.

You'd think differently if you were worried about someone you care about, getting drunk and getting taken advantage of at a young age. Kid's don't understand the dangers of drinking, i think the drinking age should be 21+, when people are 'supposed' to be more mature and more responsible. Ofcourse there would always be underage drinking, but it just makes that slightly harder.

Underage drinking, and the drinking age.

    In canada, they can.

Yes they are, I don't understand how you can even compare the maturity level of a 16 and a 21 year old. They are very different.

That's what it has always been about. Young kids are too irresponsible to drink and act responsibly with alcohol. They go running around the streets at 2 am in the morning.

That if they allow minors to drink, then they would be drinking every night.

18+, the government should not be telling legal adults what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.

i was learning about that it's unsafe to be drink at a young age like 14-15 ish

cause it can cause many wreckless activities you might regret later on in life and plus once your drunk u can get quite dangerous to the people you love

And i agree, that is what i also said. Want me to quote myself?
You're wrong. You're pretty much saying that all minors are alcoholics.
In Greece, there is no drinking law, yet you don't see all minors drinking everyday. I Denmark, the age to purchase alcohol is 16. But there is no law that makes it illegal for a person who's below 16 to consume it. I'm from Sweden, and I've visited in Denmark several times, both day and night.

    Do some research next time.

But they can tell you what you can and cannot do with other people's bodie's. Look at the amount of injuries/death's/sexual assault's/property damage due to drink driving, drunk bar fights, drink driving etc. All of those aspects don't just affect the person drinking, many people can be a victim of one person's irresponsible drinking habits. I doubt the government cares much at all what you do to yourself, its what you do to others that bothers them.

Being 18 is almost WORSE than the idiot 16 year olds.

Turning 18 doesn't evolve a person into an able-minded part of society.

    Haha, good joke.
