    Be more harsh on scammers

I think that a person that has scammed here on Sythe shouldn't have the ability to create a new account as he could be returning every time.

I'm not saying to get a IP ban but like a 6-months ban or 12-months ban to let the scammer get a bit mature. If they return after scamming and scam again, then IP ban (SuF didn't understand this)

Thanks for taking your time :)

There was some misunderstoods: I'm saying getting a temp IP ban. The scammer's acount gets banned forever. :)

PD: sorry I'm Spanish, my English is rubbish so welcome to rubbishenglishland :)

No, they come back and they get banned. It's called ban evading. They don't have to scam to get banned again.

So you're saying if someone scams, let them return to scam again?

The most stupid idea I've ever heard.

I think he's saying he wants them to have a temporary ban for 6 months, then they can return.
No support, I think the reason why is self explanatory. :\

We ban all scammers permanently and if they are found to be evading any ban issued to them, we ban them again. This deters most scammers, but repeated offenders are often issued with IP bans. We can't really do a lot else.

Edit: I guess I misread this too. Under no circumstances will we ever just temporarily ban scammers.

I understood just fine, I thought you did not understand what we do now since this is just weird. There is no way we will allow scammers back after they scam. Ever.

Not to sound mean or anything but are you stupid? This could be the worst idea I have ever seen. I am trying to understand what you mean... Anyone who scams gets permed ban/IP.

No thanks, Perm ban is not harsh enough tbh. Any scammer should have his account banned + IP banned temporairily imo.

What more do you want done? Damn a perm ban is barely punishment.

Want us to hang them from a tree, gut them and run them over with a buick?

That would only allow them to comeback on that same account over and over.

You screw up, you get banned. Have a nice day.

Scamming is stealing. And stealing is illegal.

We need to sign this kid up in that support group that meets on Tuesdays. The one where they still think an IP ban is the end-all solution just because they are too stupid to realize how to get around it.
