Why Do People Smoke?

Marijuana is an addicting substance, the side affects are much worse, it can cause skitsofrenia. Which is one of the worst kind of disease, it literally ruins your life.

Its quite sad that people smoke to relieve stress, there are better things to do then smoke. In my opinion if you smoke to relieve stress then your very sad. No Offence.

Because they want too? Maybe it relieves their stress and they enjoy it. People know what the consequences are for smoking, let them do what they want.

 

Smoking really does calm you down. I don't smoke cigarettes, but have tried them before and did enjoy them. Although I realized I didn't have the money to support an addiction, so I stopped before I got addicted. Marijuana chills me out enough and is cheaper (considering you don't need to smoke as much) so I feel it is a much better alternative. The only downside to Marijuana is that you can't really do it in public, and in some situations you can't have an altered state of mind.

I smoke, it's horrible and I hate it, but you can't understand until you are addicted. You just can't.

 

I've just started quitting smoking myself, only been about a week, and the reason I quit was because I realized that not only was marijuana better for me and gives me a much better high, but it is also cheaper for how much I need to smoke. I smoked a pack a day, which in Massachusetts is about $55 a week; while buying a 4th of an ounce a week is only around $40.

They don't tell you this in your health books, but people smoke because it's actually enjoyable.

Marijuana is not addicting I can say that based on my experience. It's not your fault you think these things about drugs it's your school and your parents that lie to you.

 

Because people are retarded and like to avoid situations and not deal with them or pass them off without stupid shit like this. If people weren't retarded enough to start, they wouldn't need to stop.

I can proudly say that I have taken one puff from a cigarette in my entire life.

The thing is, some people have a natural ability to resist temptations. Some smokers like so have the will power to quit, but it's not the same for everyone.

As for me, I absolutely hated it. I washed my mouth out countless times in disgust. Don't know, I guess marijuana is more of my thing.

 

Weed taste do good, I smoked Cigarettes when I was in 8th grade. I hated it, being addicted and always relying on a Cigarette.
Ehhh, thank god those days are over.
